Saturday afternoon, Ava and Daddy carved a sad faced pumpkin. When Bryce woke up from his nap, he didn't understand why the pumpkin was sad. So Sunday afternoon, we added a happy face one too. Ava wasn't really interested in the guts but she was a great cheerleader for daddy with the knife and had explicit instructions on what she wanted each to look like. Daddy did an excellent job!
Here is Ava showing her matching sad face. Bryce wanted to match the happy pumpkin.
We painted the pumpkins that they got from the patch at their preschool. They looked great!
