Ava went to a birthday party for sweet Summer a few months ago and loved it. They painted a canvas of Sleeping Beauty that she has hanging in her room. She decided this was where she wanted her next birthday party.
Mommy decided this was a good idea because it was going to be small(-ish) since girls only, not at home, and not a lot of prep. It was right up her alley because she is REALLY into crafts these days. She first wanted the group to paint Barbie but decided that would be hard to paint so she went with Hello Kitty.
It was super cute. She had a super sweet bunch of girls come who all seemed to enjoy playing artist for a day!
I so wished I got a group shot of the girls with their final products so I included a few of the work in progress. Ava has 7 girls in her Kindergarten class and they were all able to join us as well as a few other special family friends, ballet friends, etc. Not all pictured :(
Thank you for Nana and Poppy for celebrating with us too. Poppy had the honor of helping Bryce make his artwork. Apparently that is Nana in front of the truck and they continued by painting Poppy in the bed of the truck.
Ava requested her name on her piece... good thing it is a short one...
Sweet Rylee missed out on the family picture above. She snoozed through the entire party (see proof below).
