Halloween Festivities

Rylee's school had western day instead of wearing their actual Halloween costumes.  They even had a cute indoor campfire where we had a picnic lunch and campfire songs.

I helped with Bryce's class during Halloween/Fall centers.  I was surprised, the elementary school allowed costumes, but the kids had a ball.  Here we were painting and decorating square blocks to be Spookley the square pumpkin.

The week of Halloween, we carved a pumpkin and hit up BH's Fall Festival.

Harry and Hermione were perfect costumes.  These are fake glasses but with Bryce's new actual glasses, we have often thought he resembled Harry.  Rylee meows all the time anyway so we thought she would make the perfect wizard pet.  :)

We loved having Nana and Poppy come visit for Halloween night.  We had our traditional chili dinner and set out to Trick or Treat.  Out of no where came a rainstorm so we looked more like the second picture.

The rain put a little damper on the night, but fortunately it didn't last long and the big kids when back out to finish out the street.
