We have a cute book called Little Boy about a boy who finds endless possibilities and pleasures presented by a big cardboard box (e.g., pirate ship, fort, etc.) We were recently the recipients of a big cardboard box (with lots of goodies inside too). Lucky for two little boys...Bryce and his friend Matthew had quite a good time with the box and all of the styrofoam inside.
Then I hear Bryce, "Mommy, where the truck go?" Yup, we had to dump the BIG cardboard box FULL of styrofoam all over the den to find the truck which led to even more fun for the boys (and more mess). So much that when sister got home, she needed to play too. All I can say is Thank God for the wet dry vac and cheap entertainment.
