We spend Labor Day weekend in Charlotte, celebrating Daddy's birthday. Ava loves to point out that I am older that daddy (for those few months)... but now she talks all the time that we are the same age. Finally! She picked him out a chocolate ice cream cake from her favorite place Maggie Moo's.
Saturday the big boys went to Raleigh for the State game, Nana kept Cora and Bryce for afternoon naps, and Aunt Jennifer and I took Ava and Cole to Carowinds. They loved it of course.
Sunday, Nana had a special treat for Ava, Mary Poppins tickets!!! Ava has recently gotten interested in her DVD of Mary Poppins. And she was a big fan of the Broadway show too. Her favorite part was the chimney sweepers tap dancing. Although she is a little confused, she says, "Boys don't tap dance."
