First Full Beach Day

Ava finished her Pre-K year and we headed to Hilton Head. We wanted to take advantage before rates went up and crowds piled in. We won't be able to do that as easily going forward since she'll be in elementary school. But for this year, it was perfect.
After playing in their last soccer games, we dropped Gracie at the vet and hit the road. Once the car was unloaded, we went straight to the beach (in our clothes). The kids were so excited!! They were soaked but didn't seem to mind.
We were not messing around on Sunday.  The weather was perfect, and the tent was up and we were at the beach at 8:15am.  Ok so maybe not my idea of a vacation schedule, but the kids are such great ages.  It was truly relaxing and super fun. Bryce aka Boogie Boy... found his new passion.  He wants to boogie board all day long.  At one point Bryce and Daddy were maybe 10 feet from a school of dolphins.  It was so cool; however, it freaked Ava out a bit so after that, she stuck to building sand castles.

To bribe Bryce out of the ocean, we played a little beach baseball.

We spent the evening at Harbour Town.  Yummy dinner at the Crazy Crab topped off with ice cream.  The kids loved the boats.  They tried to feed the fish leftover hush puppies, but we never got any to bite.
