Earlier in the week, Ava brought home a notice that today would be Career Day, and they were suppose to dress up as what they want to be when they grow up. So I did what any parent would do, asked her what did she want to be?
She was very worried about the costumes we had upstairs in the dress up box. She was pretty sure she needed to use one of those. Consequently, her choice...
a princess. Deep breath, all week they are talking about community helpers (e.g., fire fighters, doctors, and teachers), but my daughter wants to be a princess when she grows up. Ok, surely she won't be the only one. She followed up with that she probably can't be a princess unless she marries a prince so that wasn't going to work. She thought about her super girl outfit, but decided that super heros were not real. Hmmmmm....
After a few minutes, she came up with this... it really was perfect.
Easy to wear to school and honestly, she does love to cook even now. She said when she grew up she wanted to be the chef at a restaurant that serves lunch.
