Details

Ok so with Bryce I used the blog like a baby book.  It is best for me to keep track of the details so many of you are just going to have to suffer though my rambling.  Finally third time was a charm in terms of making it to my scheduled c-section.  Of course I never thought it would happen so from about New Years on we were anxious ready.

Sunday night beforehand all four of grandparents came over for a celebration dinner.  We had to be at the hospital at 5:30am for 7:30am surgery.  I think we slept (a little), but I know we were super excited.  Dr. Ruffin was super excited and everyone seemed pumped that we didn't know the sex.  They had our baby girl out in no time.  Stitching me up was a bit of another story so we kept our family members in suspense.

This picture makes me laugh.  They were apparently really patient.  After seeing some of these pictures from the operating room (hint: you might want to turn your head), the kids had the better view waiting to meet us in our recovery room.

Around lunch time we were finally back in our room for the big revelation.
We held off telling people... It's a Girl... so big sister and big brother could be the first to know.  They couldn't wait to hold sweet Rylee.  They did a great job.

Daddy has a magic touch, he has her smiling already.
And then lots of turns for the grandparents.  We are so appreciative of ALL of their help in the prior AND coming weeks.  We couldn't do this without them.  We are so blessed.
