We needed to be out of the house this afternoon for someone to show the house. I took the kids to dinner and to the Mardi Gras parade at Patton Creek. They loved the music, costumes and of course, the beads. The pictures aren't great -- but better than nothing -- courtesy of my iphone. We were up on the balcony, paraders were throwing candy up, and the businesses up on the balcony were throwing beads down to other spectators on the street. The last picture is Bryce trying to join in the fun; fortunately for us, his juice cup slammed against the rail instead of going over.
