To our friends and family for making Ava's 4th birthday such a special one! We celebrated at Build A Bear. They do a really cute job of getting the kids excited to make a new friend. Once they pick out their bear, they step on the pedal to stuff it full of love.
Each bear gets a heart placed inside, Ava got an extra one from each of her friends. Then everyone got to wash and brush their bear and some even put bows on their bear's ears and around his/her neck. They named their bears for birth certificates. Here is Ava and her bear Tinkerbell. And Bryce and his bear Thomas. Other bear friends in the group included Cinderella, Sleeping Beauty and Snow White.

From there we went to the Food Court for a Teddy Bear Picnic. Yummy bear shaped sandwiches in picnic baskets, fruit, pretzels, and teddy grahams. Oh and don't forget cookie cake! It was a beary good time.
We have now rode a train and made a bear for mall birthday parties... it seems an escalator ride may be next year's activity. Bryce and Poppy were sure fans!
