A Very Merry Christmas

The kids woke up about 6:45am Christmas morning like it was any other morning. We asked Ava as she is walking down the stairs whether she thought that Santa came, she said "maybe" (with a big smile). Santa brought the kids a train table and filled their stockings. We bought three gifts for Ava and Bryce to represent the three gifts the wisemen brought to the newborn king.

As usual, Ava played with every thing... Between apple french toast, stockings and presents, Bryce was ready for his morning nap. He did wake up to crack up when he opened Elmo Live. They had a lot of fun and this was the first Christmas of many.

It is precious to see Christmas through the eyes of the children. It is priceless to teach them the biggest gift they will ever receive is Jesus in the manger, on the cross, and in our hearts.
