Hillcrest Orchards

As Ava's teachers loved showing off what she wrote in her journal, "on Sunday we skipped church to go pick apples."  With a quick stop for breakfast at Cracker Barrel, we headed up to Elijay for a beautiful day at the apple orchards. 

This place had lots of other activities, from corn maze, playground, tractor and trike rides, and even pig races.

 The kids even got to milk a cow.

We headed home after the pig races to see what we could make with our apples.  Yum!
