Me: He's at work.
Bryce: Is he getting wet?
Me: No honey, his office is inside.
Ava: Come on Bryce, Daddy can't fix a lightbulb outside. :)

Plant Picnic
It was time for the annual plant picnic at daddy's work. Even though the kids are one year older, it still thoroughly confuses them that daddy works at an open field with carnival games, arts and crafts and bounce houses. Recently it was raining and we had this conversation.
Bryce: Where's daddy?
Me: He's at work.
Bryce: Is he getting wet?
Me: No honey, his office is inside.
Ava: Come on Bryce, Daddy can't fix a lightbulb outside. :)
The highlight was Brandon usually does the prayer for the BBQ lunch. He asked Bryce if he wanted to do it. As soon as he saw that a microphone was involved, he knew his answer was a definite YES. I so wish somone had videotaped it. Bryce did so well. He loves attention.
