Trick-or-Treating

The kids were a great age for trick-or-treating.  Ava especially liked going over to the Links and seeing all of her friends from school.  Although no pictures, we loved have Mimi with us too.  The neighborhood had a parade which was cute, but Bryce started to wonder why we were passing all the houses with candy to walk in a circle.
For a month or so, Ava was planning to be Belle for Halloween.  Bryce was thinking Mario but was a little indecisive.  I took Bryce to Party City so he could pick his costume (we already owned the Belle costume).  I thought if he picked it, he would understand that he couldn't keep changing his mind.  He picked Luigi and Princess Peach for Ava.  I figured they could play around the house that she didn't have to wear it to trick-or-treat.  As Halloween approaches, Bryce starts telling people he is going to be Batman... hmmmmm... but once he put his Luigi costume on, he was convinced.  Ava decided to join him as part of "my Super family."

Bryce fell on the playground at school this week and had a nice scab on his face.  As he tells you, we run on the mulch (not on the pavement).  Oops!  Anyway, he was a little worried about the mustache (aka my favorite part of the silly costume) hurting his boo-boo so daddy wore it instead.
