We stayed in the mountains for the actual fourth and a little longer as did cousin Cole, Nana and Poppy. The boys were cracking me up during the fireworks. Bryce kept hugging Cole and saying, "it's okay Cole." And the light and dash of Daddy (the big boy) was also quite comical. The girls, Nana, Ava and me thoroughly enjoyed our private fireworks show.
We also enjoyed some fun in Boone, putt putt and ice cream.
Last but not least, even with Uncle Chad back in Charlotte, the kids needed to continue the tradition of face painting. This year they even put on shows while in costume. I think this first one is Princess and Mario riding Yoshi. And then Batman, Catwoman and the Joker.
